Daniel Polakowski

Dan Polakowski is a goalkeeper who came through Manchester United’s Academy, having joined the club at a young age and completed his scholarship there. After leaving United at 18, he moved to the United States to combine further education with playing college soccer. He now plays for the Manhattan Jaspers, the college team of Manhattan College, where he is studying accounting and has been balancing academic commitments with his role in goal.

While at college, Polakowski has made appearances in college competitions, including recording starts and clean sheets in some matches. He is originally from Manchester, England, and attended Ashton-on-Mersey for high school. His time at United gave him exposure to high-level youth development, which he has carried into his collegiate career.
