Neithan Dylan Benoliel Monteiro Barbosa (born 6 December 2008 in Lisbon, Portugal) is a young footballer who plays as a right winger for Manchester United’s Under-18s. Originally from Portugal, he moved to England early in his youth and joined United’s setup, bringing pace and attacking creativity to the youth ranks.
At about 16 years old, Neithan has started making appearances in the U18 Premier League, showing promising performances from wide in attack. He has also been used in different attacking roles, illustrating some positional flexibility beyond strictly playing on the flank.
Though still in the early stages of his youth career, Barbosa has drawn attention for his dribbling, speed, and directness when taking on defenders. Injuries have occasionally impacted his consistency, but when fit, he is considered one of the more exciting young wingers in Manchester United’s intake.
